Access adult content in the Dash via Unity Adult lens (Ubuntu 11.10 & 12.04)

Unity is definitely an interface suitable for numerous types of folks, behaviors and needs, statement based, among others, on the different range of useful lenses and scopes (weather, events, music, reddit, torrents).

Unity Adult lens provides handy access to porn movies from Youporn via (at the moment) its Youporn scope.

The lens is properly organized in Amateur, Gay, Webcam, etc accessible via filters.

The main advantage of the lens, apart from its one shortcut-away approach, is that clicking on a searched & displayed event automatically opens that respective movie in VLC media player (Totem is not so suitable when in streaming video clips).

When in search mode, the author added a More result button with the purpose of revealing more and more results, meaning it has a continuous nature and can be clicked numerous times (until there are no more result to be displayed).

How do we install Unity Lens adult 0.1?
Add the following official PPA (Oneiric, Precise)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:scopes-packagers/adult-scopes

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install unity-lens-adult unity-scope-youporn

The lens is represented in the Dash by a suggestive X icon, but, if you want to keep the lens hidden yet functional, type in a terminal

gksu gedit /usr/lib/unity-lens-adult/unity-lens-adult

and enter False instead of True (line 37), then open the lens via its shortcut Super+X
