Canonical extends its enterprise cloud zone in UK, Germany and China
Ubuntu is definitely on a growing trend all over the world and, it seems, that the imminent launch of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, is to probably strengthen the growing "wave" not only on desktops but also on clouds (enterprise environment).
As such, today, at World Hosting Day in Germany, Dell announced its partnership with Canonical to deliver, manage and support Dell OpenStack-powered Cloud Solution with Ubuntu in the UK, China and Germany.
"With Dell’s OpenStack-Powered Cloud Solution, users of Ubuntu Server 12.04 Long Term Support (LTS) will be able to take advantage of the cost savings and flexibility of the open-source cloud, without the risk", features based on more than two years experience with OpenStack and with the professional support of Ubuntu Advantage.
