Control your time spent on sessions with Time Timer, handy desktop-integrated utility

Computers and operating systems have definitely evolved across the years, caring and constantly enhancing one's use cases in relation with a computer, aspect that (sometimes) tends to occupy one's time spent when dealing with tasks, sometimes in detriment to other more important activities.

Time Timer is a lightweight yet interesting utility, aimed at "forcing" the user to stop computer-related activities after a period of time.

Basically, Time Timer presents the user a Unity launcher icon, containing all of its functionalities.

Clicking on Unity launcher's Time Timer icon, starts a countdown, when the countdown is reached, the handy tool summons a dialog (containing options such as Restart, Shut Down, Suspend etc, mainly, 1-click away options to close the current session).

A definitely interesting aspect of Time Timer is its Unity-integrated functionality, meaning, by simply clicking its launcher icon, a progressbar and countbadge are displayed, exposing the amount of left minutes via both countbadge and progressbar.

Reaching the time limit is exposed via desktop notifications.

The amount of minutes (as available for the current session) can be easily adjusted under Time Timer quicklist-->Settings (the number represents minutes)

Its enhanced Unity quicklist allows the user to Resume, Stop (stops the app) and Pause, latter option that, when clicked, starts the countdown in an inversed mode (like for instance, setting Time Timer to value 3 minutes and, after 1 minute, Pause is clicked, the app starts to count and displays in its countbadge values like 3, 4, 5, etc, with various use cases, such as observing the amount of time spent on the current session, etc).
