Nevertheless, sometimes the user is caught in the "trap" of multiple fancy wallpapers, and thus not being able to select just one wallpaper for the desktop, consequently, a probable solution is a wallpaper slideshow.

Pictoric is a handy utility that presents the user a minimalistic interface useful to start a desktop wallpaper slideshow in a matter of seconds, constantly displaying wallpapers related to a period of time, period of time tweakable in its settings.

Pictoric's usage is definitely hassle-free, after launching the tool, its main view automatically loads and exposes the images from Pictures (the default behavior), furthermore, via the top-right drop-down menu, different folders are to be selected.

Selecting the user's desired time interval (selecting 1, means a different wallpaper is displayed/changed after 1 minute) and clicking Apply launches the desktop slideshow.

How do we install Pictoric 2.2?
Download the .deb package and install it via Ubuntu Software Center.
