Easily group, manage and access bookmarks with Unity Bookmarks (Ubuntu Software Center)
Accessing numerous websites is, in a world "dominated" by the web, a common action, action that usually tends to "force" the user to bookmark various websites for further usage, bookmarks usually contained inside a web-browser.
Unity Bookmarks is a simplistic yet effective utility, allowing the user to store bookmarks into an easy-to-access place, "outside" of the web-browser, basically a handy clickable area suitable to contain preferred websites' addresses.
Launching Unity Bookmarks, presents the user a window (where adding bookmarks is to be performed) and an appindicator.

Adding a bookmark is as simple as clicking the Add button and filling the required fields, such as Bookmark name and URL, clicking OK, pushes the newly added bookmark into Unity Bookmarks' main window, window "packed" with handy actions, such as Edit, Open, Preferences, etc.
A definitely interesting aspect of Unity Bookmarks it its ease of use when dealing with bookmarked websites, meaning, adding three bookmarks, such as mysiteubuntu.com, mysite2ubuntu.com, mysite3ubuntu.com, exposes the mentioned sites on its appindicator's menu, clicking on mysite2ubuntu.com , directly opens the websites via the default web-browser.
The handy bookmarking tool comes with enhanced Ubuntu integration, adding, along with its appindicator, an enriched quicklist, consequently, opening a bookmarked website can be performed by clicking on Unity Bookmarks' Unity launcher quicklist (where added websites are exposed as entries), thus providing a double-sided approach when accessing bookmarks (appindicator and/or Unity quicklist).
Unity Bookmarks "records" the number of times a website have been accessed, meaning, accessing mysiteubuntu.com three times, adds a 3 number to the visited website's "line".
Sharing is as aspect implemented in Unity Bookmarks, sharing a website is to performed by clicking on a website-->Share, action followed by selecting a supported online service (Twitter, Google+, Facebook).
After the utility is installed, rebooting the computer, automatically exposes on the desktop both Unity Bookmarks' appindicator and its window (the default behavior), nevertheless, the mentioned options can be disabled/enabled via Unity Bookmarks-->Preferences-->uncheck Show main window on startup, action that, after a successful login, automatically starts the app by launching only its appindicator (without the "main" window).
Unity Bookmarks 12.07 is available for free via Ubuntu Software Center.
Worth mentioning
Unity Bookmarks has been created as part of Ubuntu App Showdown.
