Fancy RSS reader Lightread 1.2 released with dark theme, Gwibber support and Messaging Menu integration

Lightread is a fancy RSS reader, allowing the user (through Google Reader) to easily add, manage and "digest" feeds, feeds exposed via a clean clear interface with monochrome icons, pleasant-to-the-eye areas and online service integration (Pocket, Instapaper).

Lightread 1.2 has been released, enriching its offered features, as well as improving the already available functionalities.

Lightread comes (by default) with a light theme, exposing RSS items via a light gray-ish background contrasted by black/dark monochrome buttons; the new 1.2 release introduces a dark theme, displaying its content via a dark background "versus" white/light monochrome buttons.

In order to use the dark theme, navigate to Lightread-->Edit-->Preferences-->check Night Mode

Enhanced Unity integration is an aspect considered by Lightread 1.2, that, along with the already present count badge and enriched Unity launcher quicklist, introduces support for the Messaging Menu, consequently, receiving new articles/posts, is notified by a blue envelope and dedicated Messaging Menu entry (furthermore, the number of unread items is related to specific data sources, such as Xwebsite).

In order to enable (disable) the Messaging Menu integration, navigate to Lightread-->Edit-->Preferences-->check Show in messaging menu

Sharing an article is as easily as clicking the bottom-bar Share icon, sharing action enhanced by the newly added via Gwibber functionality, meaning, clicking the mentioned Share button, exposes a new Send to Gwibber option, clicking on it, pushes the about-to-be-shared article into a Gwibber dialog (option to select multiple accounts included), further followed by a 1-click away sharing action.

By default, reading content in Lightread is performed in its default view, yet, the user is able (the "old" behavior, by clicking on a button) to read articles as formatted by Instapaper; Lightread 1.2 adds the ability to automatically open articles in Instapaper (from inside the app) without a manual press of a button.

Enable automatic Instapaper formatting by navigating to Lightread-->Edit-->Preferences-->check Auto Instapaper
