Handy alarm utility MyWake updated with configuration options and extra alarm tones
MyWake is a handy utility, created as a simplistic yet effective alarm, allowing the user to set an alarm in a matter of seconds.
MyWake 0.32 has been released, adding various enhancements and extra polish to its already pleasant-to-the-eye interface.
The new 0.32 version introduces a Preferences dialog, under MyWake-->the bottom-left "cog" icon, where sound alarms are to be selected (featuring extra ringtones, such as Alarm dawn, Elegant ringtone, Extreme clock alarm, Good morning, Military alarm, Nuclear alarm, tones suitable for numerous tastes and use cases), as well as the ability to select alarm repeat periods of time (under Repeat after), basically, MyWake 0.32 adopted a tweakable per-user-preference approach.

Choosing a separate non-provided alarm sound is to be performed by clicking the + button, action that summons a dialog where the preferred sound is to be selected.
Setting an alarm is to be easily achieved by clicking the bottom-left clock icon, selecting the desired hours and minutes and, finally, clicking the white circle (that becomes green when an alarm is activated).
Along with the alarm functionality, MyWake provides a fancy time view with big numbers and optimized colors, latter view that can be fulscreened via the bottom-right fullscreen button, generating an absolute view/background covering the desktop with its time-based functionality.
MyWake is available for free via Ubuntu Software Center.
Launch MyWake via the Dash by typing mywake in the search area.
