Humble Indie Bundle 5 landed in Ubuntu Software Center

Ubuntu Developer Summit Quantal was the place where the developers announced a new Ubuntu approach on games with the exciting announcements of Electronic Arts games, company that released two games in Ubuntu Software Center.

It is now a certainty that the above attitude has been taken seriously, the Ubuntu developers have just announced a new full-of-potential partnership :"We’re excited to be partnering with the Humble Indie Bundle for their newest collection of incredible games, which is available now", meaning "following the purchase of the games from Humble Bundle, Ubuntu users will be able to install their games on Ubuntu more easily than ever, using the Ubuntu Software Centre".

Amnesia:The Dark Descent (first person survival horror), Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP (exploratory action adventure with an emphasis on audiovisual style), LIMBO (puzzle) and other games are now available in Ubuntu Software Center.

Furthermore, the new launch is packed with more goodies, the developers will contribute $100 to the bundle, "we’ve also committed to contribute $100 to this bundle for every Humble Indie Bundle 5 game page on the Ubuntu App Directory that receives 5,000 Facebook likes".
