Join puzzle pieces with Picsaw, fancy animated game (PPA available)
Games are usually oriented towards an entertainment area where the user is to be relaxed, enjoying various actions (shooting, flying, conquering, fighting, etc), while completing missions with a focus on exploration, discovery, proper choice of optimal items (guns, fuel, maps, etc), usually being tailored around a "global" broad view with multiple focuses.
Picsaw is an exciting puzzle game that demands an increased amount of precision when joining the "dots", basically, presenting user's pictures that are transformed into puzzles, letting the user to rebuild the original image.
Eyecandy and polish are definitely a noticeable aspect of Picsaw with white-ish navigation icons, properly rendered text, exciting animations, fancy animated image transformation from a "full" state to puzzle, clearly combined elements, etc.
Launching Picsaw, presents the user its main view with the already loaded pictures (automatically from the Pictures folder), where the user is to navigate through the presented images, and, by clicking on a particular image, to open it, action that "breaks" the image into puzzles, the minimum size (by default).
Puzzles feature support for multiple modes/states, accessible via the top puzzle pieces white-ish clickable buttons (clicking on the middle-sized piece, splits the image into 28 puzzle pieces, clicking on the smallest-sized piece, splits the image into 60 pieces), basically, presenting themselves as game "levels" (the size determines the difficulty level).
After a "level"/mode is selected, clicking the Shuffle button takes the user into the actual game action, where the pieces are to be diligently relocated into their original place by clicking&holding&dragging a piece into another piece, furthermore, Picsaw subtly recognizes the successful piece joining and, adds, for successfully joined parts, the ability to be moved together as a whole, thus, allowing users an enhanced maneuvering area not bound to only a particular area where action takes place.
Completing the action rewards the user with a time-aware congratulation message and the visual representation of the completed image (with subtle puzzle lines).
