Kazam Screencaster 1.3.2 BETA introduces refreshed look and screenshots support

Kazam Screencaster is a simplistic yet effective screen-recording utility, packing (under its "hood") a handy amount of functionalities, aimed at an intuitive adjustable screencasting experience.

Kazam has been updated to version 1.3.2, pushing its BETA stage to an interesting refreshed look & feel.

The new 1.3.2 BETA version introduces a completely redesigned look, featuring a toolbar and monochrome icons, presenting itself as a simplistic easily graspable interface, bearing a low-learning curve (essentially, launching the tool, clearly exposes available actions).

Kazam 1.3.2 enlarges the screencasting approach, meaning, new recording modes (such as All Screens, Window) are available, consequently, the user is able to accurately select a to-be-recorded area.

Preferences gained a dedicated menu, being "shifted" from the main window to a regular menu; navigating to Kazam Screencaster-->File-->Preferences the user is presented handy configurable options, such as used Speakers and Microphone, Framerate, used-for-recording file formats (including RAW/AVI), etc.

By default, recordings are saved to a preferred location (after the user clicks on an after-the-recording-is-finished dialog), nevertheless, under Kazam Screencaster-->File-->Preferences-->Screencast, setting Automatic file saving ON, the recorded files are automatically saved to Videos (clicking on Videos, summons a menu containing file locations, selecting a preferred folder, sets the folder as the new saving location), as well as allowing users to specify a file name (to be automatically adopted by recorded clips; the default name is Kazam_screencast).

Judging by the mentioned release, it seems that Kazam Screencaster is being transformed into a more rich recording experience, incorporating a Screenshot component, that (as its name says), captures screen images.

A definitely interesting aspect of the newly released 1.3.2 version is its presented screen-wise methods (such as All Screens, Window, Area, etc) used for both video and image, meaning, clicking the toolbar Screencast, exposes Fullscreen, All Screens, Window, Area, yet, clicking the toolbar Screenshot, presents the same options (Window is not usable at the moment), basically, the user is immediately familiarized with using the screenshot utility, without further learning, looking, etc (the main clickable buttons are identical).

Screenshot comes (at the moment) with fullscreen, all screens and per-user-preference area support, furthermore, under Kazam Screencaster-->File-->Preferences-->Screenshot, shutter sounds can be changed (from the available Canon 7D and Nikon D80 sounds).

Similarly to the video area, screenshots can be (on demand) automatically saved to a specific folder, images can bear a predefined file name, etc.
