Kdenlive 0.8.2

Kdenlive, the versatile video editor, has been updated to 0.8.2 version as a mainly bug fixes release.

This version addresses some stability issues generated by corrupted project files and inappropriate missing clips handling.

What is new in Kdenlive 0.8.2?

  • automatic backup (every time a project is saved a dated backup is created in order to avoid work losses)
    To open a backup of your project, go to Project-->Open Backup File

  • improved webcam support
  • other 150+ bugs fixed

How do we install Kdenlive 0.8.2?
Add the following official PPA (Karmic, Lucid, Maverick, Natty, Oneiric)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kdenlive
