Lead mice and penguins in mazes for cheese and fish with CuteMaze, simplistic entertaining game

Games are definitely a spread phenomena across the world, where "big" names like Max Payne, Diablo, GTA, etc, are enjoyed by millions and millions of gamers, featuring complex plots, full-fledged characters, eyecandy interfaces, etc.

Nevertheless, along with complex games, it seems that simplistic games are still played, maintained and developed, simplicity that can be used for various purposes, such as procrastination, short breaks between various projects, mind relaxation, etc.

CuteMaze is a simplistic game that presents (by default) a mouse "helped" by the gamer to locate and eat cheese, cheese situated in randomly-generated mazes.

CuteMaze comes with support to show the amount of elapsed time, number of visually rendered steps, zoom into the maze (in order to properly locate the cheese), available targets (bottom panel), allowing users to both practice the mind's "sharpness" (without help) and relax the mind (with a fun" approach) by using the Hint button (that exposes step-by-step navigation indications).

The mouse and cheese theme can be changed under CuteMaze-->Game-->Settings-->Themes where a Penguin versus fish is available.

Controlling the "actor" is to be performed (by default) via Up, Down, Left, Right, nevertheless, the key are configurable under CuteMaze-->Game-->Settings-->Controls where, by clicking a button (such as Up) and then hitting a keyboard key (such as keyboard's S key), setts the S button as responsible for moving the actor in the Up direction.

Completing a "mission", greets the user with a success dialog, as well as option to add a username for the recorded High Scores (later accessible under CuteMaze-->Game-->High Scores).

Pressing the top-left New button, allows the user to easily modify the game's visuals by selecting a different maze-rendering algorithm (Hunt and Kill, Kruskal, Prim, Recursive Backtracker, etc), number of targets and size.
