LibreOffice 3.5 available via official PPA (Lucid, Oneiric)
Ubuntu's default office suite, LibreOffice, has been updated to version 3.5 and released days ago in Ubuntu 12.04, but for "older" Ubuntu version the 3.5 release was available only via manual download and installation.
The official PPA has just been updated with LibreOffice 3.5 (Lucid, Oneiric)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libreoffice libreoffice-gnome
For a proper integration with the appmenu/global menu, install the experimental lo-menubar
sudo apt-get install lo-menubar
