LibreOffice to gain appmenu integration by default in Ubuntu 12.10 (UDS-Q)
LibreOffice provides a great office experience in Ubuntu, nevertheless there are various complaints expressed by users related to LibreOffice's Ubuntu integration.
In a talk at UDS-Q, Ubuntu's Sebastien Bacher stated (minute 11:46) that LibreOffice will gain appmenu integration by default in Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal.
Probably, blockages that kept lo-menubar as a non-default package are to be fixed, furthermore, by enabling the appmenu by default, users will be able to properly maneuver LibreOffice via the HUD, too.
