Lightweight human vs computer game, Battleship 0.46, released

Battleship is a simplistic yet interesting game, that presents the user a war "canvas" split in two war fronts, the left-side occupied by the user and the right-side exposing the enemy's "dangerous" ships.

The action is basically rooted in one's ability to guess and destroy the opponent's vessels by clicking on its rows, rows that display hints (via numbers) in relation to ships' accurate "geographical" location.

Battleship has just been updated to another interesting release, 0.46, implementing new bits that are to accommodate the game to various gaming experiences and screen sizes.

The new 0.46 introduces (since 0.44) a new fancy icon used in the game itself, as well as in its icon, minor tweak that adds an up-to-date visually pleasant look&feel.

The "old" behavior of running the game was based on a static non-resizable game elements, meaning, Battleship was played in the same size, regardless of the screen size, approach that generated "faulty" game interactions, especially on big-sized screens (if the application was fullscreened, the game elements themselves weren't following the fullscreen mode, retaining the same "windowed" size).

Battleship 0.46 brings a Scale functionality, where, by modifying the scale level, the user can on-demand increase the size of ships and rows; in order to increase the scale, navigate to Battleship-->Preferences-->Preferences-->Scale.

Playing numerous games, collects various performance data, combined into both Personal Highscores and Global Highscores, approach enriched in the new 0.46 release with a success rate, that keeps the track of one's gaming skills.
