Mozilla Firefox 7 final and Thunderbird 7 final available via the official PPA
Mozilla has released new versions for both Firefox and Thunderbird, version 7 final, that follow the recently-acquired policy of not-so-visible changes, but rather bug fixes and "underground" improvements in terms of stability and speed.
Mozilla Firefox 7 comes with efficient memory management (faster opening tabs, optimized memory usage for numerous tabs opened during long web browsing sessions), a new version of hardware-accelerated Canvas (faster HTML 5 animations and games), new tools for web developers and numerous bug fixes.
Thunderbird 7 features now a better attachment handling, new minor UI improvements, the ability to print a summary of selected email messages and numerous bug fixes, all of this based on the new Mozilla Gecko 7 engine.
