My Weather Indicator adds new weather source World Weather Online

Ubuntu users are located all across the globe, in numerous countries and regions, places bearing specific "details", details differently expressed (if expressed at all) on the internets.

Using a desktop application yet rooted into an online source can sometimes trigger issues in relation to users spread across the world, in the sense of incompleteness when delivering online-content for all the users, consequently, solving/improving/reducing the issue is to be performed by adding extra online sources suitable for a majority of users.

My Weather Indicator is a lightweight fancy full-of-features weather application, that presents the user a handy appindicator from where weather informations (related to a city, location) are to be accessed, both in a minimalistic view (such as degrees exposed on the Unity panel) and via a detailed forecast dialog.

Weeks ago, My Weather Indicator received two new online sources, Yahoo and Wunderground, useful to (separated from the Google source) push into the appindicator weather data.

My Weather Indicator has just been updated to another interesting release, 0.5.1, introducing a new online weather source, World Weather Online, a full-fledged online service covering more than 2 million worldwide cities.

In order to set World Weather Online, navigate to My Weather Indicator's appindicator-->Preferences-->Weather Services-->check World Weather Online

The latest My Weather Indicator version features 4 weather sources, the user is to utilize the optimal service in situations like searching a specific city and a particular source is not able to locate it, a particular source is not functional, data exposed by a source is not according to one's local paper's data, TV's, etc.

How do we install My Weather Indicator 0.5.1.7?
Add the following official PPA (Precise)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install my-weather-indicator

Launch My Weather Indicator via the Dash by typing my weather indicator in the search area.
