MyWake, simplistic eyecandy alarm utility, landed in Ubuntu Software Center
Sometimes, using computers brings, along with numerous functionalities, due to a more amount of time spent than anticipated, neglecting of important activities, such as completing a new documents, watching a movie, going to a pick-nick, etc, usually due to user's total immersion in captivating computer actions, such as games, listening music, coding, etc, activities where an alarm is to bring a "balance", redirecting the user towards relevant activities.
My Wake is a simplistic eyecandy lightweight utility, designed mainly as an alarm easy-to-use and effective.
Its main view consist of displaying the current time in orange big numbers, week days and the current date, itema bearing an informative approach.
Setting an alarm is to be preformed by clicking the bottom-left button, action that summons two clickable scrollable buttons displaying the hour and minutes, checking Enabled and clicking Save sets the alarm and return the application to its main view, exposing, in the top-right corner, the alarm.
After the alarm is set, the user can easily interrupt it and/or modify it, by following the above steps and unchecking the Enabled button and clicking Save.
MyWake features a built-in vivid alarm sound, triggered by the actual alarm taking place, furthermore, the handy utility, when an alarm is in progress, presents the ability to Stop and Snooze.
