Picasa Web desktop manager, Picapy 2.0, released with new features

Picasa Web is a powerful online service, that presents the user an easy-to-use manner of uploading, managing and sharing images.

Picapy is a useful utility that takes advantage of Picasa Web's functionalities, properly containing one's Picasa Web images into a user-friendly intuitive desktop application.

Launching the tool, presents the user uploaded-to-Picasa images, furthermore, grouping them in albums (essentially, adopting the full Picasa Web experience, from a management point-of-view).

Right-clicking on an album/image exposes handy options, such as Information (containing album name, access type, etc), Edit (ability to edit Title, Summary, Access), Download, basically, a bundle of relevant actions and informations, needed for a proper uploaded images-related experience.

Picapy 2.0 has been released, further polishing its look, as well as strengthening its security.

Opening Picapy, displays now the albums with thumbnails (featuring an image from "inside" the album), thus ditching the old blue-generic-folder approach.

The new 2.0 release introduces a refreshed Edit Image dialog, with big-sized image preview (allowing the user to properly observe the about-to-be-edited picture); changing an image (with a different image from the computer) is as simple as right-clicking on an image-->Edit-->Download, action that summons a dialog (from where the image is to be selected).

Picapy 2.0 enhances its authentication process, by using under-the-hood up-to-date improvements, as well as exposing (when the application is launched, after its installation) a more clear authentication dedicated window.
