Precise's Ubuntu Software Center gained specific software recommendations
Recently, Precise's Ubuntu Software Center gained software recommendations in the form of a panel, work in progress at the moment, that is to display and recommend various applications related to your software installations.
The software recommendations area has been integrated into USC's main window, furthermore, a similar software recommendation panel has just been implemented for various apps, presenting itself as People Also Installed, probably gathering and exposing apps installed by users that have previously installed the application responsible for recommendations, not necessarily as a part of the same category (such as internet, games, sports, etc).
This two-sided approach is to probably be presented as the "general" recommendations (presented in the home view with the signing into an account possibility) and "particular" recommendations (no need for signing, related to a specific application).
