PyShare 0.6.1,handy images and files uploader (Imageshack, Twitter, Rapidshare), released

PyShare 0.6.1 is a handy script that allows you to upload files (screenshots, images, etc) to IM, Forums, Direct, Forums Thumbnail, Html Thumbnail and Twitter, etc.
Installation process is quite easy, download the archive, unpack it, run install.sh and install python-pycurl and scrot (dependencies)

sudo apt-get install python-pycurl scrot

To start PyShare, right-click on a file in nautilus and choose:

  • "PyShare_GTK" allows you to configure the script (appearance, accounts, screenshots default file type, compression level, maximum number of connections, etc) or drop&send images into it
  • "sendFiles" send selected images to Imageshack or Twitpic and other files to rapidshare
  • "sendDesktopScreenshots" send screenshots of your desktop to Imageshack or Twitpic
  • "sendWindowScreenshot" take and send screenshot of clicked window
