Stacks of items creator, Drawers 12.08, updated with drag&drop reordering and optimized mini Dash positioning

Drawers is a handy tool featuring an exciting attitude, in the sense of "working" inside Unity but as "helper", taking a complementary behavior yet being usable as stand-alone, with its own functionality, icons, properties, etc.

Drawers presents the user an easy yet optimal manner of dealing with items (applications, images, videos, documents, etc) and/or grouped items (such as x preferred applications, 7 daily-needed document files, 5 always-to-be-used web links, etc), bundle of items organized and presented via a mini Dash (opened drawer) exposed/linked to a drawer.

Drawers has been updated to another interesting release, 12.08.1, taking a step further towards enhanced usability, as well as improved overall stability.

Clicking on a drawer, summons its Dash displaying contained files, files that have received support (in the new 12.08.1 version) for drag&drop when reordering items, meaning, changing the position of an item is to be performed by clicking&holding&moving&dropping the item into a preferred position.

The mentioned mini Dash was exposed mainly on screen' middle area, regardless of drawer's position (like for instance, clicking on a drawer situated on the very bottom area of the launcher, exposed a mini Dash on the middle of the screen); Drawers 12.08.1 introduces an optimized positioning for the opened drawer, displaying the mini Dash in relation to the drawer's Unity launcher position, thus exposing the mini Dash on the top-left corner if its drawer is situated on Unity launcher's top area.

How do we install Drawers 12.08.1?
Add the following official PPA (Precise)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ian-berke/ppa-drawers

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install drawers
