Tweaking tool Unsettings 0.07 released with new features
Unsettings is a lightweight yet effective configuration tool, allowing the user to easily adjust, tweak, set, etc, numerous parts of the desktop, such as Unity launcher size, panel opacity, used fonts, number of workspaces, GTK+ themes, icon themes, etc.
Unsettings has been updated to another interesting release, 0.07, bringing, along with new features, support for Ubuntu 12.10.
The 0.07 version introduces two new categories, Indicators (housing Show Bluetooth indicator ON/OFF, Show sound indicator ON/OFF, as well as ignored media players) and GTK (exposing 1-click away manners of enabling/disabling icon on menus and buttons, etc).
Launcher look gained Background color, thus allowing the user to select preferred colors for the Unity launcher (color used by the panel and the Dash, when the Dash is opened).
Unsettings 0.07 adds support for setting the launcher's reveal pressure, under Unsettings-->Launcher Behavior-->Reveal pressureand option to show/hide icons on the desktop (under Unsettings-->Desktop-->Show Icons).
A minor yet user-friendly addition is the display of tooltips for all of Unsettings' parts, meaning, hovering the mouse pointer over a button, displays a tooltip featuring a handy description (related to that specific button), definitely a handy enhancements, aimed at both decreasing Unsettings' learning curve and familiarizing the user with Unity's settings.
