Ubuntu 12.10 ALPHA 3 released
Ubuntu 12.10 ALPHA 3 has been released, marking the last ALPHA stage in the Quantal development cycle, stage to be be followed in the near-future by Ubuntu 12.10's BETA 1.
What is new in Ubuntu 12.10 ALPHA 3?
- refreshed Nautilus, version 3.5.4, that gained a fancy monochrome touch, with monochrome navigation icons, places, "cog" icon, furthermore adopting a full-state toolbar, more noticeable clicked addressbar, search-as-you-type support,
Copy ToandMove Toactions, etc
- new Unity 6.0, featuring improved HUD text formatting, optimized Dash highlight behavior, active blur-enabled tooltips, online radios support for Unity Music lens and increased frame rates
- redesigned Indicator Session, that incorporates the "old" User Menu and handy new additions, such as About This Computer, Ubuntu Help, Restart

- minimalistic redesigned Update Manager, renamed to Software Updater, presenting the user a unified minimalistic look&feel
