Ubuntu for Android new clip demoes opening files with LibreOffice
Ubuntu for Android is, although work-in-progress at the moment, a handy way of accessing complex Ubuntu desktop applications directly from inside a compatible docked Android phone attached to a regular monitor.
Ubuntu's Richard Collins, the Product Manager for Ubuntu for Android, is featured in a new fresh clip, demoing Ubuntu for Android running on a Motorola ATRIX 2.
The clip presents already known facts (like the easy docking and automatic switching to the full Ubuntu desktop in a matter of seconds), furthermore adds an exciting view: opening the resources-demanding LibreOffice that loads an attachment very fast, with the same speed as a "decent"-equipped computer, strengthening its zero-compromises, full-desktop nature.
