Ubuntu Software Center receives a link-like long-awaited improvement in Oneiric Ocelot
There are often small but quite important aspects that can make a difference and, if we look at last days' Oneiric (this applies in general, too) we can definitely observe a progressive work on details.
Not only rumors but also official statements tell us about Ubuntu Software Center 5 to land in Oneiric with a completely new look, feel and structure.
Until then, we must deal with Ubuntu Software Center 4 which now features a very small but noticeable improvement in Ubuntu 11.10 ALPHA 1 (when you hover your cursor over USC's departments "Accessories", "Games", etc they act like links).
This may be a total win for the new users, they now can identify the clickable areas of USC, and we , the regular users, can enjoy this plus in completeness and consistency.
