Ubuntu Tweak 0.7.1 released with window shadows for Unity 2D session, new features and more (PPA available)
Ubuntu 0.7.1 has just been released after the 0.7 version's more that 60.000 downloads.
What is new in Ubuntu Tweak 0.7.1?
- support to add shadows (to windows, menus, etc) in Unity 2D when in Unity 2D/Ubuntu 2D session (the option is enabled by default, nevertheless it may require, in order to be properly applied, a second activation under
Ubuntu Tweak-->Tweaks-->Unity-->Compositing manager ON) - enabling the above mentioned tweak will automatically enable windows preview in the Unity 2D's Alt+Tab Switcher, thus adding a solid plus in maneuvering opened applications, which are now easier to identify due to their exposed content
- ability to easily increase/decrease the number of workspaces under Unity 2D
