Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.2 released with improved Ubuntu 12.10 support and improvements

Changing a GTK+ theme, selecting a desktop font, enabling only a close button on the titlebar, removing old kernels, etc, are actions that can be hassle-free achieved via Ubuntu Tweak, a powerful tweaking utility designed with 1-click away exposing a massive amount of confirmation options in mind.

Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.2 has been released, further optimizing previously added fresh features.

The recently added Apps category gained, along with a handy usability, support to display installation-related badges, meaning, opening Apps, differentiates the installed apps from not-installed apps by "gluing" a visible green OK-like icon to them.

Ubuntu 12.10 ships (by default) Web Apps, meaning, navigating (via Firefox web-browser) to a supported online service, summons a dialog (requesting permission to install the supported website as a Web App).

Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.2 introduces a 1-click away option to disable the Web Apps integration, under Ubuntu Tweak-->Tweaks-->Unity-->switch Web Apps integration OFF

Weeks ago, Love Wallpaper HD landed in Ubuntu Tweak, presenting the user an interesting method of adding high-quality wallpapers (under Ubuntu Tweak-->Tweaks-->Love Wallpaper HD), double-clicking on a wallpaper, sets the image as desktop wallpaper, furthermore, hitting the I'm Feeling Lucky button, populates the view with fresh new wallpapers.

The downloaded wallpaper is available on (can be copied from) .config/ubuntu-tweak

The newly released 0.8.2 version comes with enhanced Ubuntu 12.10 support, consequently, adding full support for various Ubuntu 12.10-specific actions (such as proper GTK+ theme changing, etc).

How do we install Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.2?
Add the following official PPA (Oneiric, Precise, Quantal)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak
