Unity 3D 4.6.0 released with options to configure launcher opacity, edge reveal and more
Unity 3D has reached yet another meaningful release in Oneiric Ocelot, 4.6.0 version, bringing long-awaited options to tweak/adjust this more and more tweakable desktop interface.
What is new in Unity 3D 4.6.0?
- option to configure the edge reveal timeout (choose how fast the dock will appear when one pushes the left edge of the screen) under CompizConfig Settings Manager-->Ubuntu Unity Plugin-->Edge Reveal Timeout
- new awesome option to change the launcher/dock/Springboard opacity (when one chooses "0" the launcher is completely transparent)
CompizConfig Settings Manager-->Ubuntu Unity Plugin-->Experimental-->Launcher Opacity - new option to show/hide devices (CompizConfig Settings Manager-->Ubuntu Unity Plugin-->Experimental-->Show Devices)
- new launcher visual feedback (when a dock item is dragged&dropped into the Trash, the Trash pulse once before the item disappears)
- mute/unmute sound by simply clicking with the scroll button the sound appindicator's icon
