Unity + creativity = interesting mockups
Unity is a great interface, that definitely triggers creative minds in presenting alternative or complementary solution to Ubuntu's default shell.
Iloveubuntu reader, Frederico nq6 Mendes Araujo, sent us Unity mockups packed in a Youtube clip, where he expresses his vision about various parts of Unity, like lenses, social integration into the Dash, launcher repositioning and more.
Along with a visual richness, the clip also brings possibly useful ideas, like for instance the integration of a music player directly into the Dash (minute 3:53), from where users to play songs, helped by fancy presented album arts, scrolling support, etc.
This built-in player idea can also be implemented for video clips, Ubuntu TV has already implemented a similar idea (with the difference that the video playing is in fullscreen mode).
