VLC 2.0.5 released with 100 bugs fixed

VLC is a powerful versatile media player containing numerous features, as well as support for a massive amount of file formats, allowing users to enjoy a no-compromise media-playing experience.

VLC has been updated to version 2.0.5, version presenting itself as a bug-fixes release.

The newly published 2.0.5 version comes with one hundred bugs fixed, taking the full-fledged media player to a more stable zone.

Along with fixes, VLC 2.0.5 introduces numerous-and-relevant optimizations for MKV, SWF, AIFF, RTSP, subtitles and encoding processes.

How do we install VLC 2.0.5?
Add the following official PPA (Quantal, Raring)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/stable-daily

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vlc
