Xnoise 0.2.8 adds Magnatune plugin

Xnoise is a fast, minimalistic yet effective music player, designed around the user's main "interests", such as playing media files via a clear interface shaped around media items.

Xnoise 0.2.8 has been released, enlarging its online store base, while strengthening its overall stability and used plugins.

Weeks ago, Xnoise introduced support for Ubuntu One Music Store, being implemented as a plugin, consequently, accessing Ubuntu One Music Store is on demand, checking the specific plugin, enables the mentioned store, unchecking the Ubuntu One plugin, 1-click away disables the store from Xnoise's left sidebar.

The new 0.2.8 version introduces a Magnatune plugin, online music place that follows the Ubuntu One Music Store's plugin approach, meaning, in order to enable Magnatune, navigate to Xnoise top-right "cog"-->Preferences-->Plugins-->check Magnatune.

Playing Magnatune music is as simple as clicking on sidebar's Magnatune, expanding displayed artists and double-clicking on a desired music track, action that plays the clicked track.

The mentioned feature, along with fixed crashes (fixed title-to-decoration plugin, improved mpris plugin), as well as minor visual tweaks (such as changed search area's color from red to blue when searching tracks in the search area), deliver a more enhanced improved Xnoise version.
